Heights is just 20 minutes away from downtown St. Paul for those of you that work there, or just appreciate the summer Farmer’s Markets and Jazz Fest. Vadnais Heights also has its’ own local summertime and other seasonal events such as Easter egg hunts, Ice Cream Socials, concerts and movies in the park, and their yearly Heritage Days – the city’s summer fair.
Students in Vadnais Heights are serviced by both the Mounds View and White Bear Lake School Districts.
A large portion of the City is served by the White Bear Lake Area Schools. A smaller portion is served by the Mounds View Public Schools. The charter high school, Agricultural and Food Sciences Academy (AFSA), is located within the City. Gentry Academy is a new private school, opened in 2017, for fifth grade through 12th grade. For people interested in post-secondary education, Century College is very nearby, and because of Vadnais Heights’ convenient location, there is easy access to all of the colleges and post-secondary institutions in the Twin Cities metro area.
